Keep it real and professional. Thank your boss for their leadership and support, and mention any specific ways they helped you grow in your career or personal life. You could also talk about how they inspire you and the team, or make your job easier.
Need inspiration? Here’s a sample message for a Boss’s Day card:
“Dear Lisa,
Happy Boss’s Day! Thanks for being an awesome leader. Your positive energy is contagious, and I've learned so much working with you. Appreciate you.”
Think small but thoughtful. What does your boss like? Is he a coffee fan? Grab their favourite brew. Book lover? Pick up a bestseller in their genre. A nice pen or a fun desk toy can work too.
Even better, team up with coworkers for a group gift like an eGift Card. Remember to check your company’s gift policy first!
